Day 21: 30 Days of Egg Toast
The Lou
Jammy, baby, JAMMY. Our friends at Lou sent us over an egg toast recipe (Lou is egg toast kween, aaand also one of my favorite restaurant in Nash), GOOD NEWS: It tasted good. BAD NEWS: We didn’t follow the directions quite right, and missed a few key ingredients. WOOPS. This was a caper aioli and jammy egg toast. Basically, we took the directions too literally, and didn’t add any “aioli” like a mayo, to the aioli. WOOPSY. We were also missing parsley, which would have given it a reeeal nice fluff. Though, I 10/10 recommend pickling some mustard seeds to give your toast or salads a little snappy something.
