French Onion Bone Marrow Baguette

Is there really anything more comforting than FRENCH ONION SOUP? Not really. Sit me in a bistro and get me a bowl of THAT. We took this soup and transformed it into baguette form, and cooked bone marrow for the first time, which was both wild and easy.

French Onion Bone Marrow Baguette

Ingredients:

  • Baguette

  • Bone Marrow

  • Yellow Onion

  • Minced Garlic

  • Gruyere

  • Butter

  • Salt

  • Balsamic Vinegar

Directions:

  • Start by caramelizing your onions on the stove with butter, a little salt, and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. 

  • Get your bone marrow bones from yo local butcher, place that hole down and roast for 20 minutes at 450 degrees in the oven. Ish gettin JUICAY.

  • Rub your baguette piece with butter and freshly minced garlic. Toast on stove top, face down, until the right toastiness. You be the judge boo.

  • Once bone marrow is complete, take out, let rest for 10 or so to cool down. 

  • Spread the marrow on the baguette, top with caramelized onions, grade on the gruyere.
